With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Summers Boone of Orangeburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Shadrach; her brother Tom Summers Jr. (Ann); her son Louis Boone III (Kristina); and her granddaughter Lauren Boone. She is survived by: her husband Louis C. Boone, Jr.; her daughters, Kathryn Victoria Boone of Pensacola, FL and Cynthia Boone Howie (Tommy) of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Thomas Howie Jr. (Jordan), Griffith Howie (Meagan), Matthew Boone and Kathryn Boone; and her great grandchildren, Caroline and Cameron Howie.
Sylvia was a faithful and devout member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Orangeburg, SC, where contributions to the church general fund in her memory would be greatly received.
