It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sybil McCollum (Orangeburg, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman Spearman and Delores H. Spearman; her son Lucas Timothy Gooding; and her brother Gerald Evatt. She is survived by: her husband W. Regan McCollum; her daughter Crystal Gooding; her grandchildren, Jasmine Matthews (Quinton Floyd) and John Lee Matthews; her great grandchildren, Willow Croft, Emery Floyd, Capri Floyd and Mia Matthews; her siblings, Wayne Spearman (Cheryl), Glenda Richardson, Sheila Loizos, Jean Hart (Kevin) and Sharon Kubischke (Kenneth); her sister-in-law Brenda Evatt; and her sister Lynell Zissette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
