He was predeceased by: his father Henry Marvin Bolen. He is survived by: his mother Rivie Bates Bolen of Sumter; his brothers, Charles Edwin Bolen (Donna) of Washington, N. C., Barry Franklin Bolen (Ann) of West Columbia and Dennis Roger Bolen (Lynn) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Amber (Cole), Austin (Joann) and Caleb Richardson; and also Casey Richardson (Terrie). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; twenty-one great-nieces and great-nephews; an extended family.
