Richard Thomas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Thomas (Orangeburg, South Carolina), who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Levy Thomas and Alice Thomas; and his siblings, Rosa Moorer, Levi "Bubba" Thomas, Leroy Thomas and Marion Thomas.

He is survived by: his great-niece Barnette Johnson; his nieces, Sherron "Oola" Johnson of Orangeburg, SC and Shanicwa Moorer of Orangeburg, SC; his siblings, Mattie Jones of Orangeburg, SC, Joseph Thomas (Helen) of Orangeburg, SC and Alvin Thomas (Diane) of North Carolina; his niece Brenda Dash (Levine) of Orangeburg, SC; and his nephews, Larry Moorer (Daisy) and Sheldon Moorer, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
