He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold B. Brown, Jr. and Dorothy Joyce Brown Powell; his daughter Kelly Brown; his brother Reggie Brown; his uncle Charlie Hutto; and his nephews, Gaige Landrum and Chad Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Melanie B. Garrick (Wesley) and Chris B. Brown (Samantha); his grandchildren, Caden, Layla, Emily, Ally, Autumn, Colton and Clayton; his siblings, Robyn "Sue" Hallman (Roy), Richard Murray Brown (Karen) and William "Sam" Brown; his siblings-in-law, Wanda Elliott, Ricky Elliott, Keith Elliott (Sherrill) and Mama Clara; and his close friends, George and Robin Brunson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
