He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Pinckney Shuler and Ruth Brown Mewborne. He is survived by: his cousin Mary Louisa Fairey; his siblings, Ruth Shuler McLeod (Harold Jr.) of Greensboro, NC and John F. Shuler (Jane Clinge Shuler) of Orangeburg; and his nieces and nephews, Mollie McLeod Bergstrom, Carolyn McLeod Gaskins, Harold M. McLeod, III, Amy Shuler Kratzer, Ellen Shuler Hinrichs and John F. Shuler, Jr.. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
