It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion L. O'Cain of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lever H. O'Cain, Sr. and Mattie Ayers O'Cain; his wife Frances Floyd O'Cain; and his brothers, Glenn H. O'Cain, Leroy A. O'Cain and Lever H. O'Cain, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Crosby (Mack) of Cordova, Julian Pike Smoak, Jr. of Cordova and Dana Gillis (Chris) of Puyallup, WA.; and his grandchildren, Rachel Crosby Cooper (Anthony) of Orangeburg, Chad Crosby (Melanie) of Cordova and Robert Christopher Gillis of Ibaraki, Japan. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; a number of nephews.
