She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Young and Mary Ellen Young; and her siblings, JW Young, James Young, Susie Goodwin, Lois Nettles and Dot Walling.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Gene Rice of Orangeburg; her grandson Austin Gene Rice; and her sisters, Martha Berry of Orangeburg and Sherry Wolfe (Lenny) of Cordova. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
