Byerson; his children, Kirk Oliver, Bishop Donald Oliver (Lisa) of New York, Luis Perez of Orangeburg, SC, Wendell Glover (Sherry) of Orangeburg, SC, Roderick James (Tiffany) of Orangeburg, SC, Victoria Bethea of Orangeburg, SC and Jennifer Jackson (Aaron) of Orangeburg, SC; his sisters, Cynthia "Temp" Burwell of Brooklyn, NY and Jacquelyn Smith of Indiana; his niece Venus Johnson of Bamberg, SC; his grandson Melvin Clark; his brother Davis of Brooklyn, NY; his godmother Alice; and his sister Perkins of New Jersey. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
