With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Junior Thomas Clinton Key of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clinton Key and Betty Irene Waddell Key; his former wife Margaret Anne Moss Key; and his sister Connie Janice Key. He is survived by: his wife Mary McCarthy Key; his children, Lauren Key Burns (Alexander James) of Sewickley, PA and Clinton Connor Key (Kelly Laine Sheeran) of Keswick, VA; his grandchildren, Margaret Barclay Burns, Thomas Charles Burns, Anna Patricia Sheeran Key, James Summers Burns and Lillian Grace Sheeran Key; and his brothers, Daniel Allen Key (Boyne Wyse), Larry Nathaniel Key (Johnnie Johnson), Timothy Lane Key (Wanda Dillard) and Jamie Lyn Key (Barbara Zimmit).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
