She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hydrick Dukes and Annie Laurie Betsill Dukes; and her grandson Benjamin Lucas Boensch. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Tyler Naumann (George), Cecile Boensch (Ben) and Denise Tyler Johnson (Warren); her grandchildren, Katharine Judd (Tyler), Sergeant Tyler Kiser, Mary Charlotte Kiser, Kimberly Boensch, Benjamin Boensch and Celeste Talafuse (Daniel); and her great grandchild Audrey Hope Talafuse.
