He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Inez Dunning; his children, Cheryl Burgess (John) of Orangeburg, SC, Joshaway Dunning Jr. of New York, NY, Joseph Dunning (Cynthia) of Montgomery, AL and Maniel Dunning; his grandchildren, Anita Besteder (Kerry) of Birmingham, AL, Alicia Wilson (William) of Orangeburg, SC, Sandra Locket of Atlanta, GA, David Lockett (LaTasia) of Columbia, SC, LeKecia Caldwell (De'Auntae) of Montgomery, AL, Josiah Dunning and Sarah Dunning of Montgomery, AL.; his great great grandchild Karmen Lockett; and his siblings, Hallie Queen Pendarvis, Judy Sistrunk (Leon), Nellie Mae Dunning and James Darby (Vernell) of Orangeburg, SC. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
