It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jimmy Young of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 64, on March 11, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Young, Jr. and Ann Marie Whisenhunt Young; and his nephew Dallas Scott. He is survived by: his wife Jamie H. Young; his children, Tia Young, Kasey Grabiec (Rocky) and Mark McArdle (Mary); his grandchildren, Bria Bell, Jolie Bell, Harper Grabiec, Olivia McArdle and Nora Grace McArdle; and his siblings, Mary Ann Scott, Glenda Cramer (Ryan), Dean Young and Clifford Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A reception will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association c/o the Lower Savannah Council on Aging at 2748 Wagener Road, Aiken, S.C. 29801.
