With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy Rogers Mays (Orangeburg, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Though Jimmy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jimmy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Glover's Funeral Home (2562 Charleston Hwy, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pineville United Methodist Church (1808 Winter Creek Rd, Bowman, SC 29018). All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
