She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ward Spears and Clara Louise Spears; her wife Lois K. Spears; and her brother Frank Crawford Spears. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Catherine Kirk Owens and Ernest Lee Kirk, II. She is also survived by six grandchildren; a great-grandchild and many additional friends and family.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115).
