He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simpson and Rebecca Myers Simpson; his daughter Christine Simpson; and his siblings, Edward, Walter Simpson and Almeda Johnson (Frank).
He is survived by: his wife Emma Simpson; his son Danny Simpson; his godson Jovan Paige; his daughter Alice Ennals (Chris); and his sisters-in-law, Mildred (Willie Joe), Shirley, Mary (Melton), Bertha and Mattie Dixon Washinton DC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
