He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harter Brant and Dorothy Zeigler Rast Brant; his sister Debbie Hamar; and his aunts and uncles, Eugene Brant, Fred Brant, John Henry Brant of George Brant, B. L., William "Ed" Brant, Konia Rast, Lonnie Rast (Mildred), Rudolph Rast, Robert Rast (Helen), Gloria Chapline, Gertrude Thompson and Mildred Thomas (Charlie).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Reannah, Bailee and Myles Brant; the mother of his children Peggy Creech; his siblings, Mike Brant (Charlotte) and Brenda Bruns; his aunts, Betty Carson, Mary Cunio and Devone Brant; his uncle Roger Brant (Mary); and also, Jamie Brant (Ashley), Ashley Brant (Michael) and Casey Brant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
