He is survived by: his wife Ruby Simmons; his children, Joshua Sentrell Simmons of San Antonio, Texas and Janee Alexander Simmons of San Antonio, Texas; his sisters, Barbara Jean Simmons of Santee and Brenda Bradley of Beaufort; his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Funderburg of Elloree, Patricia Davis of Holly Hill, Rebecca Childs of Goose Creek, Adrienne Riley of Charleston, Rose Green of Orangeburg, Daniel Keller of Santee, Bryant Childs, Sr. of Goose Creek and Ernest Riley of Charleston; and his aunts and uncles, Laura Mae Simmons of Cross, Bernice Haigler of Elloree, Idelle Howell of Greenville, Catherine Shuler of Santee, Hannah Sheard of Santee, Nathaniel Howell of Santee and Thomas West of Orangeburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
