He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Brown and Fannie Hubbard Brown; his wife Irene Pressley Brown; his daughter Gwendolyn Brown Martin; his brother Leroy Bradford Brown, Sr.; and his sister-in-law Ola Watkins Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Brown, Violettee "Vi" Brown, Valerie Brown Allen, Percell Dickson and Alison Dickson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
