He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Braxton Bryant, Jr. and Cornelia Smoak Bryant. He is survived by: his spouse Bettis Wolfe Bryant; his children, Harry Smoak Bryant, Jr. (Sarah Bush) of Chicago, John Stafford Bryant (Celeste) of Orangeburg and Hart Bryant Elliott (Linton) of Marietta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Alex Elliott, Bryant Elliott, Annie Elliott, Sellars Bryant, Claire Bryant and Susannah Bryant; and his brother Thomas Braxton Bryant, III (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
