She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Brown Sr. and Emma Gardner-Brown; her husband Alphonso Fields; her children, Alan O. Fields Sr. and Arelia Mathis (Jackie); and her grandsons, Alan O. Fields Jr. and Marshawn Green Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Fields (Michelle) of Orangeburg, SC and Gregory Fields (Karen) of Monks Corner, SC; her brother Melvin Brown of New York; and her close friends, Hilda Stephens and Milred Richardson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
