She is survived by: her daughter Catrean K. Shuler; her grandson James D. Houser, Sr.; her great grandchildren, James D. Houser, Jr., Daveoun M. Vereen, Jamella Houser, Amir and Aubrei; her siblings, Pearline Bowman of Tabor City, NC, Julia Lennon (Michael) of Evergreen, NC, Janie Reeves of St. George, SC, Mae Simon (Ralph), Leroy Kelly (Veronica) of Tabor City, NC and Johnnie C. Kelly of St. George, SC; and her brother-in-law Jackie Green (Gloria). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (107 S Parler Ave, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Temple of Christ Church (136 Christ Church Dr, St George, SC 29477).
