It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Ann Drain of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Flora Lee Hicks; and her brothers, Lester Hicks and Timothy Washington. She is survived by: her son Jabar Drain (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Endayja Drain, Jamarra Drain, Jabbreah Drain, Kamal Morton, Amani Drain and Jaelen Stanford; and her siblings, Juliette Hicks, Deborah Washington (Azana), Larry Hicks (Nixa), Michael Washington and Brent Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Harmon Park.
