She was predeceased by: her father James Brown Sr.; her husband Arthur Govan of Orangeburg, SC.; and her siblings, James Brown, Jr., Samuel Lee Brown and Mary Lee Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Audrey Michelle Martin (Ceaser); her siblings, Sallie Mae Jones and Gary Brown; her grandchildren, Benjamin Joshua Benson (Kiara), Derick Vandel Govan (Veleta), Willie James Dash (Sasha), Teon Shamoui Dash (Olesha) and Raven Smith; and her close friends, Sharon Felder and Ronald Bennett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
