He is survived by: his son Stephen Johnson of Kernersville; his grandson Lamont Johnson; and his siblings, Della Mae Ellis, Elease P. Brown, Thelma P. Caldwell (Joseph), Orangeburg of South Carolina, Barbara P. Grainger (James) and Paul E. Perry.
