It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Shell (Orangeburg, South Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelia Jeter Shell and Leon Shell; and his wife Dorothy E Shell. He is survived by: his siblings, Bettie F. Sanders, Earl Shell, Leon Shell, Michael Shell and Cleophus Shell; his children, Billy Shell of New York, Bassain Shell of New York, Michael Ervin of Orangeburg, SC, Samuel Ervin of Schenectady, NY., Denski Shell (Sandra) of Yonkers, NY, Bridgette Herring of Middletown, NY, Brenda Shell of New York, Denique E Bastian (Steven) of Bronx, NY and Dorrie Ervin of Orangeburg, SC.; and his siblings, Emma Jean Cannon (James) of Raleigh, NC, Brenda Bridges (Gene) of Newberry, SC., David W. Shell of New York and Donnie Shell (Paulette) of Rock Hill, SC.. He is also survived by great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
