It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy R. Etheridge of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Etheridge and Jewel Johnson Etheridge; his wife Lorita "Pete" Etheridge; his son Brian Etheridge; his brothers, Marion W. Etheridge and A. W. Etheridge; and his grandson Joey Etheridge.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul Etheridge (Olive) and William Etheridge (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ryan Etheridge (Molly), Rachel Gentry, Austin, Dustin Etheridge (Lauren), Summer Etheridge, Timothy Etheridge, Andrew Etheridge and Hailey Etheridge; and his brother James Etheridge (Carolyn "Tina" Hall). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Double Branch Baptist Church (3567 Neeses Hwy, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
