She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Bell "Kelley" Jones and Leon Jones, Sr.; her former husband Nelson Pringle; her husband Edward Govan; her son Claytheao "PeeDee" Pringle (Adrena Norton) of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings, Mary Jones Nash, Naomi Jones Reed, Leon Jones, Jr., Jack Jones and Johnny Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Grindl Hayward (Sinday) of Orangeburg, SC, Bianca Allen of Greenwood, SC, Gloria Govan, Portsmouth Virginia, Thomas Govan (Tonya) of Denmark, SC and Tracy Brunson of Orangeburg, SC; her grandchildren, Christopher Pringle of Orangeburg, SC, Andrea Odom (Chriss) of Orangeburg, SC and Teri Cokley (Shawn Clark) of Orangeburg, SC; her sons, Charles Scott of Denmark, SC, JaQuevion Govan of Denmark, SC and Trenity Benjamin of Denmark, SC; her sister Dorothy Canteen (Ann) of St. Matthews, SC; her in-laws, Jessie Reed of Orangeburg, SC and Shirley Jones of Orangeburg, SC; her friends, Blanche Higget and Albertha Bowman; and also Dora Johnson of Denmark, SC. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
