It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Louise Hopkins (Orangeburg, South Carolina), who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manning Elmore and Willa Dean Payne Sanford; her sons, Richard Dean Williams, Shane and Shawn; and her husband John Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, Jimbo Williams of Cheraw, SC, Jay Hopkins of Inverness, FL and Polly Humann of Rockingham, NC; and her siblings, Buster Sanford, Richard Sanford and Tina Vinluan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
