He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Lizzie Mae Keitt; and his grandparents, Jay Smith, Pansy Smith, Flossie Mae Hallinquest and James W. Hallinquest, Jr..

He is survived by: his parents, Jacob Smith and Cynthia Hallinquest Smith; his significant other Anna Jackson Smith; his daughter Savannah Aniya Smith; and his siblings, Shantay Smith Evans (Samuel) of Marietta, GA and Jason Duwayne Smith (Veronica). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many, many cousins, teammates and friends.
