She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Martin Ayer, Sr.; her parents, Gary Lee Jones and Donie Crosby Jones; and her sons, Louis Martin "Marty" Ayer, Jr. and Raleigh Green "Buddy" Ayer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Ayer Carter (Kim) of Olar, Sandra Ayer Chavis of Olar and Shirley Ayer Funderburk (Brad) of Williston; and her brother Johnny Lee Jones of Graceville, Florida. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
