He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hubert Garrick and Willie Mae Padgett Pruitt; and his sister Betty Jean Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Nelms Garrick; his daughter Stephanie Lucas (Michael); his grandchildren, Victoria Lucas, Michael "Bubba" Lucas, Jr. and Bryson James Lucas; his sister Anna Garrick Griffis (Randy); his nephew Donald Griffis (Stacey); his nieces, Stacy Redmond (Joel) and Heather Zeigler (Wesley); and his pets, Baby and Mary Jane.
