We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2022, at the age of 85, Willie Myrtle McKenzie (Olanta, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Olivia Floyd Locklair; her husbands, Johnny Harris Thigpen and Berlon McKenzie; and her siblings, Tillman Locklair, Annie Laura Morris, Mary Jane Humphries, Vernice Morris, Ethel Lou Lee and Vera Coker.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Thigpen of Lake City and Elaine Reardon (Oris) of Kingstree; her grandchildren, Ben Reardon, Toria Lynn Thigpen and Milton Thigpen (Denise); and her siblings, Johnny Locklair of Scranton, Elizabeth Floyd of Georgetown and Dot Gaymon of Olanta. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
