He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Welch and Vera Barfield Welch; his grandson Carson Olinray Hammond; and his siblings-in-law, Franklin "Bubbie" Powell and Bonnie Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Feary Welch; his sons, Scott Welch (Angela) of Turbeville, Jason Welch (Frances "Evonne") of Turbeville and Willie Welch (Erin) of Timmonsville; his grandchildren, Ashley Welch, Joseph Welch, Madelynn Welch and Paul Welch; his great grandchild Liam Hudson; his siblings, Donald Welch (Frankie) of Turbeville, Richard Welch of Turbeville, Vela Mae Powell of Turbeville and Christine Miles (Kermit) of Scranton; and his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Fertig (Allen) of Pennsylvania and Judy Engle (Bob) of Pennsylvania.
CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service. All attendees are requested to wear a mask.
