With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Wright Baird (Olanta, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wright Oscar Baird and Marlee Mariah "Bunt" Welch Baird; and his brother John Rockwell "Rocky" Baird. He is survived by: his wife Lois Brenda Morris Baird; his children, John "Johnny" Wayne Baird (Jessica) of New Zion and Janet Baird "Jeffrey" Evans of New Zion; his grandchildren, Johnathan Baird (Heather Knowlton), Jordan Elizabeth Baird, Layla Mariah Welch and Gavin Beasley Evans; and his sister Carol Baird Miles of New Zion.

The family request that memorials be made to The McLeod Hospice House, 1203 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.
