She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elgin Wood and Marguerite Bryson Woody; her sister Nina Janice Woody Davenport; her stepmother Georgia Wright Page Woody; her daughter Cynthia Threet Surgeon; and her sons-in-law, George Sheldon Filyaw and John Franklin Surgeon III.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Threet (Mary Rose) of Dalton, GA and Marguerite "Anne" Filyaw of Cades, SC; her grandchildren, Eliska Manny (Daniel) of Dallas, GA, Jeffeory Threet (Katie) of Dacula, GA, Johnny Surgeon of Tampa Florida, Kaycee Bennett (Brent) of Lake City, SC and Adrianna Lee (Collin) of Lake City, SC; and her great grandchildren, Grooms Bennett, Kayden Carter, Lily Jane Bennett, Brody Threet, Lillie Cooper Bennett, Bryce Threet, Marley Bennett, Dalton Rose Manny, Grayson Manny and Lewison Lee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
