Nina Vause Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Nina Vause of Olanta, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erbie Baxter Pierce and Lovie Lorene Vause Pierce; her husbands, J. P. Moore and George C. Vause; and her siblings, Margie Lee, Dorothy Haselton, Billy Pierce, James Allard Pierce and Edward Pierce.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia M. Spring of Timmonsville, Linda M. Welsh of Olanta, Diane M. Carpenter of Timmonsville and Frankie M. Deas (Greg) of Kershaw; and her grandchildren, Pamela McCaskill, Jill S. Lynch (Stephen), Glen Vause, Shannon Collier, Doug Welsh (Anne), David Welsh (Tiffany) and Chris Welsh (Melissa). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Home (136 E Main St, Olanta, SC 29114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Bethany Free Will Baptist Cemetery (4172 Olanta Hwy, Timmonsville, SC 29161).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Olanta Baptist Church, P.O. Box 188, Olanta, SC 29114 in "Mrs. Bill's" memory.
