With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlee Welch Baird (Olanta, South Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, McSwain Welch and Annie Turbeville Welch; her husband Wright Oscar Baird; her son John Rockwell Baird; her grandchildren, Penny Lynn Miles and John Rockwell Baird, Jr.; and her siblings, Earlene Welch Joyce, Avis Welch Coker, Ivan Welch, James Welch, Paul Welch and Doyle Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Baird Miles of New Zion and Wayne Baird (Brenda) of New Zion; her granddaughter-in-law Charlean Baird of Newark, DE; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Baird, Johnathan Baird, Collin Winnail, Justin Baird, Tara Winnail, Jordan Baird, Layla Welch and Gavin Evans. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
