It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Esther Massey in Olanta, South Carolina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Theodore Thompson and Emma Mae Drunkemiller. She is survived by: her children, James Edward Massey (Lisa) of New Castle, DE, Esther Lynette Smits of Darby, PA and Mae Marie Pearson of Olanta; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Parker, Georgie Smits, Marion Pearson, Kimmy Smith (Jim), Dawn Smits, Kendall Massey, Tina Massey and Hunter Holden. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
