She was predeceased by: her parents, James Powell and Sara Parker Powell; her husband Reddin Welch; her son Tommy Welch Jr.; her grandson Mitch Driggers; and her siblings, Carrie McElveen, Lula Powell, Heyward Powell, Horace Powell, Helen Scott, Betty Smoak, Valerie Gurganious and Kenny Powell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Driggers of Turbeville and Judy Hall (Andy) of Olanta. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
