She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bunice Sims and Sylvia Irene McIntosh Sims; her grandson Joseph Dakota Stacy; her brother William Scotty Sims; and her cousins, Harvey Mason Grainger and Barbara Grainger.

She is survived by: her son Hunter Lloyd Dickerson (Hailey) of Effingham; her grandchildren, Saylor Ryker Dickerson, Riverlyn Grace Dickerson and Maddox Dozier Dickerson; her siblings, Todd Sims of Manning, Donald Sims of Kingstree and Becky McElveen of Turbeville; her adoptive children, Barbara Dickerson, Matthew Dickerson, Michael Dickerson and Hartman Dickerson; and her cousins, Lee Grainger, Harvey Lee Grainger (Samantha) and Roxanne Sellers (Jessie).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Floyd Funeral Home to help the family with the funeral expenses.
