In the sacred silence of farewell, Loretta Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Guy Green and Dora Elise Driggers Green. She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Janet Gainey of Sumter, Eva Marilyn Green of Sumter and Melba Lou Crossland of Gilbert; her stepsister Laura Ellen Bowman of Texas; and her brother Leslie Thomas Green of Charlotte. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice to honor the empathy and generosity that Loretta exemplified throughout her life.
