It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Kay Carmon (Olanta, South Carolina), who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Legrand Carmon and Liza Elease Parker Carmon; and her brothers, Donald and C. W. Carmon. She is survived by: her siblings, Tammy of Florence, Jean of Turbeville, Ann Altman (Mike) of Hemmingway, Brenda (Rusty) of Scranton, Libby Robinson (Mitchell) of Scranton, Roy Carmon (Marie) of Turbeville, Carl Edward Carmon (Brenda) of Turbeville and W. L. Carmon (Sherry) of Effingham. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Due to Kay's request, a private family graveside service will be held at 4 PM Friday, August 21, 2020 at Olanta Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, with Covid-19 precautions in place including face masks, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta.
