He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert Moore, Sr. and Myrdie Effie Carraway Moore; his wife Mary Elizabeth Watts Moore (Libby); his great grandchild Hunter Moore; his granddaughter-in-law Michele Moore; and his sisters, Adele Tomlinson and Uldean Watts.
He is survived by: his sons, James H. "Jimmy" Moore, III (Ellen) and William B. "Billy" Moore (Fran) of Olanta; his grandchildren, Jay Moore (Chanda) of Olanta, Michelle Andersen (Thomas) of Turbeville, Bernie Moore (Mandy), Lee Moore (Deidre) of Lynchburg and Trisha McCallum (Wheeler) of Blenheim; his great grandchildren, Taylor Moore, Haley Andersen (Zach Poston), Max Andersen, Brody Andersen, Ellee Andersen, Shay Hall (Carmen Hanna), Blake Moore, Drew Moore, Leah Moore, Payton Moore and Gracielynn McCallum; his goddaughters, Ashleigh Knowlton (George) and Carol Ann Griffith; and his siblings, Johnny Moore (Linda) and Anne Prescott (Terry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
