Burroughs of Columbia, SC; his aunts and uncles, Linda Gamble (Levern) of Lynchburg, SC, Mary McGill of Turbeville, SC, Georganna McCray Johnson (Darryl) of Florence, SC, Linda McCray of Olanta, SC, Carolyn Epps of Florence, SC, Monroe McCray (Mary Ann) of Olanta, SC, Benjamin McCray (Elizabeth) of Olanta, SC, Jasper Epps (Mary) of Olanta, SC, Randolph Epps (Mary) of Olanta, SC and Durant Brown (Helen) of Lake City, SC; his close friend Tammie Lee Carter of Lake City, SC; and his brother Geroy Epps (Shannon). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“It is with my deepest condolences which words can't begin to describe the emptiness I feel inside. I've never met such a wonderful, young man. Each time I visited South Carolina and saw him it was always that beautiful smile that greeted me. I spoke to him during my birthday party (August 2019) in my kitchen bye the sink and his last words were "Happy Birthday and I Love You". So every time I'm in my kitchen I'll always remember him.
