He was predeceased by: his parents, Milburn David DuBose and Ada Kathleen Floyd DuBose; his wife Julia Ellen Powers Stone DuBose; his siblings, Winnie Floyd Buddin and Ray DuBose; and his sister-in-law Vanona DuBose.
He is survived by: his children, Susanne Thigpen (ONeal) of Olanta, Ginger Ard (Brian) of Olanta, Earl Stone (Deborah) of Olanta and Ryan DuBose (Anna) of Olanta; his grandchildren, Rachel Stone, David Ard (Rhonda) of Olanta, Cameron Ard (Camille) of Socastee, Liana Pace (Craig) of Kentucky, Troy Thigpen (Angie), Brandon Thigpen (LeEtte) of Olanta and Ava Jones (Steve) of Charleston; his sister Betty Jean Hickson of Olanta; and his close friend Dixie Floyd.
