She was predeceased by: her husband Perry C. Atkinson; her parents, James William Strickland and Maggie Floyd Strickland; her son Sandy Atkinson; and her siblings, Lizzie S. Lynch, Ivan Strickland, Lewis Strickland, Leon Strickland, Henry Strickland and Lloyd Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Strickland (Charlie) of Turbeville and Perry "Pete" Atkinson (Myra) of Alpharetta, GA; her grandchildren, Perry C. Atkinson III of Alpharetta, GA and Susan Dunson (Brian) of Ball Ground, GA; and her great grandchildren, Bryce Dunson of Ball Ground, GA and Presley Dunson of Ball Ground, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
