She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Gene Eric Floyd, Jr. (Bridgett Seagroves) of Abbeville, S. C. and Kevin Darrell Floyd (Megan) of Florence; and her brother James "Jimmy" Foster Carter (Claudia) of Lakeport.
