He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert David McFadden and Mattie Leola Brown McFadden; his son Dedrick Singletary; and his brothers, Cleo McFadden, Robert David McFadden, Jr., Sonny McFadden, Ronald McFadden, Vornical McFadden and Lester James McFadden.
He is survived by: his children, Orlando McCray (Vanyke) of Florence, SC, Adrenda Samuel (Timothy) of Davis Station, SC and Felicia Starks of Clarksville, TN; his stepchildren, Pamela McCray of New Zion, SC and Adrian McCray of New Zion, SC; his siblings, Mary Curtis (Donnie) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Barbara McFadden of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Cynthia Ceasar of New Zion, SC, Brenda Montgomery (Larry) of Hollywood, FL, Johnny Bernard McFadden of New Zion, SC, Horace McFadden (Bishop Johnnie) of New Zion, SC, Willie Lee Player (Joann) of Bennettsville, SC, Eugene Maurice Kennedy of New Zion, SC and Henry Rowland (Loretta) of New Zion, SC; his niece Cheryl Simmons (Andra) of Florence, SC; his aunt Georgiaretta Brown of Florence, SC; his close friend Mary Waiters of Olanta, SC; his sisters-in-law, Jannie Lee McFadden of New Zion, SC and Doris McFadden of Sumter, SC; and his sister Leola Kennedy (Eugene) of New Zion, SC.
