He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmond Willock (EW) and Myra Moore Horton; his wife Linda Buckles Horton; his sister Carolyn Lyons McMinn; his children, Bill, Suzi Morris and Selena Mikell (Paul); his grandchildren, Nikki Cannon (TR), Jamie Brown, Heather Berkey (Matt), Shannon Miner (T. J.), Ashley Collins (Chris), Kati Jo Pitre (Tyler), Sami Morris (Micheal Humbert), Christopher Mikell (Tori) and Stephen Mikell; and his great grandchildren, Hannah (Kylie), Therion, Mia, Jacquie, Danica, Tripp, Genny, James, Loretta and Harper.
